ABOUT US
At its core, 86 Logic is a platform for artists with roots in the service industry. We want to find playwright bartenders and opera-singing dishwashers. Give us the servers doing stand-up and pizza-delivering illustrators. Maybe poetry from porters or short fiction from short-order cooks? We can't forget the hosts who mix house, also known as maître DJs. The art from the industry is as varied as the industry itself and we want to bring it to you.
So far, 86 Logic has published over a hundred artists in its quarterly magazine printed in New York, New York. All work featured is created by a current or former member of the service industry. 86 Logic was founded by a server and a bartender.
